Your mashed potatoes

i like mashed potatoes with out any seasoning just butter,

i like it with lots of gravy and it would be better if it was mashed so perfectly, you know with no chunks of potato left! and i eat it with chicken, i dunno it just feels more complete if i eat them together!

I love to eat mashed potatoes. I like to add chicken or turkey gravy on top of mine and a little bit of salt, pepper and butter. I like Idaho instant potatoes. I will eat real potatoes every so often too though. I like to add some melted cheese on top of my potatoes sometimes to. We always have mashed potatoes when we eat chicken, or or chops. I love to dip rolls in my potatoes too.

OMG this topic makes me want mashed potatoes... LOL I love mashed potatoes but hardly ever make them.. I love lots of butter and some salt on it.. I am really not a gravy person though.. Instant is extreamly fast when you really need them but making them the old fashion way is ok too.. However I am all for the instant ones!!!

I prefer real potatoes over instant, but I will eat instant. I like to put cheese, butter and sour cream on mine and maybe some bacon bits. I like eating like I would a baked potatoe.

I like instant mashed potatoes because they taste good and they're quick and easy. I do like mashed potatoes made with real potatoes too but that is quite a lot of work and I just don't think the end result is quite enough to justify all the extra work.

When I make instant mashed potatoes, I do use a bit of garlic salt and chicken broth. It adds a nice flavor. Then I like to eat them with butter on top. That's my favorite way. I'm not fond of gravy on mashed potatoes because it hides the flavor of the potato too much for me.

Both instant and home-made potatoes. Like with you, it depends on how much 'time' I have to cook. Unfortunately, I usually only have time on holidays and do make them home-made on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter. Normally though my husband and I prefer Betty Crocker's Potato Buds (store-bought mashed potato flakes). We both love either butter or brown gravy as a topping; it depends on whether or not we have gravy in the house. I have to admit, I would never have thought to put garlic in potatoes as a seasoning. But garlic in potatoes does sound delicious! Besides, hubby and I both LOVE garlic in our food and it's great for the heart.

I like real mashed potatoes with either butter or gravy. Now...if you're talking about baked potatoes, then I get creative about toppings. Anything and everything can be a topping for a baked potato.

It depends on my mood. I am okay with instant but if I want it good and lumpy I use real potatoes. I use garlic and parmesan cheese in mine. I use butter when I'm making it but I don't put any toppings on it. Sometimes I make gravy cause my mom likes gravy.

I do not think anything can beat real mashed potatoes. The instant ones are ok for when you wnat some done quicker but I think the real ones are the best. I love garlic but have never tried it in my mashed potatoe. I might try it sometime. I love veggie sausages and mash. I sometimes like gravy on my mashed potatoe but sometimes I like to have butter. I have one or the other because I think if the put gravy on mashed potatoe which has butter on this means that you can not taste the butter so much.
