I window shop but I never get tempted to buy little things just because they are pretty. I think hard before I make even a simple purchase. For one thing they accumulate dust and remain in a corner unused and I think it is a big waste of money. I make an exception in the case of saris. I seem to buy this endlessly. Recently I had been to Gangtok and there is a newly constructed shopping area there. No vehicles of any kind can go inside that vicinity and people will only have to walk .There were shops on either side of the road and it was simply neat and beautiful. I have uploaded this because it is such a rare sight as far as I am concerned. To people who live abroad [I am in India] it may be a commonplace thing but I found this very well planned and organized. I bought a few things also –some of them were gifts and I indulged myself with one or two small items. Tell me if you like curios.

Hi kalav56! I do shop endlessly before and just buy about anything that caught my fancy. However, all this have changed since I have learned to do budgeting and just buy what is necessary. I became what you may call a wise spender and I am glad I learned to be wise on spending especially now that times are hard. But I still have this little indulgence. I do love refrigerator magnets. They are not that expensive that is why I can buy one or two whenever I get attracted to a design. They are all displayed on my fridge that has photos of loved ones attached to them. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Very wise indeed. But all of us are justified in a bit of indulgence once a while and if the magnet is inexpensive then there is nothing like it. Thank you very much for the response.
