i used to party almost every night and go home very late. one ordinary night on my way home, as im approaching our house, something blocks my way. at first thought, beacause our house is a km away from the downtown and we planted lots of trees around, i thought its just some tree trunks or something... but it did move.. and i was like... woaa... and because it is full moon that time, i vividly saw the diamond like spots.. its a snake.. a huge snake... i falled to my knees and watched it crawled away.. after that night i'd never go out. it freaks me out.. i cant party. i cant move.. please tell me how can i get rid of that snake..

Woh,it will be very stunning incident. If you asked about how to escape from that, you can call police and can save the others from that snake. But if you want to know how to get rid of the memories of it,it will be very difficult.I think the days can delete it from your mind. Thanks

I've never had to deal with a 24 foot snake but I'm guessing you should call animal control if you see it again. I highly doubt it is still around so I'm sure you are safe to go out again. Even if it is still around, you'll have to see it again if you want it to be taken care of. The proper authorities won't know where to look if the only information you have is that you saw it many days ago.

Hi Chubibo, This is where you call in for reinforcement. You can't do this alone, first start off by calling the police and they can take it from there. Hope it gets resolved.

Hi there chubibo. We're from the same town. Are you sure it was an anaconda? Coz I don't think we have anacondas here. We have big snakes that could grow that long but not anacondas. You should be very careful next time though. And if you see a snake again, don't hesitate to call for help.

Hi there, it is best to call in the wildlife authorities at your area. These are their expertise and they have the knowledge on how to safely remove that snake on your area to its rightful place in a far forest. And also keep all doors and possible entries on your house closed. So that this snake could not enter your house.

Oh my gosh, that is just too scary to even think about!! I think I'd have a heart attack if I saw a snake that big! I wouldn't have a clue how to get rid of one that size. Doesn't a mongoose kill them? (I think I read that somewhere, but I could be wrong) Maybe there's somebody in town who knows how to get rid of them. I don't know, but if I had trees close to the house, I'd be tempted to move them further away from the house, and from my walkways. I wish you luck. I don't blame you one bit for being scared of it, 24 feet is one huge snake!

Are there Anacondas in the Phillipines? I thought they were pretty much restricted to the Amazon River basin in South America. Also, 24 foot snakes are pretty much non existent, except for maybe a reticulated python. and they're rare, too. If the snake is still around, call your local animal control agency, don't try to catch it yourself.
