Helping others

Hi How many of you help others with out thinking about the reward or publicity? I think we should help those who really need our support and help. My friends and me are thinking about a project to help the needy though we can not provide huge amount of cash for this. We can help them by spending time with them especially in the case of old people staying in old age homes. If we visit them once in two weeks and be with them for a while will and make them happy. We are thinking more about these kind of activities. Do you have any suggestions?

At one time I would visit the home for the aged and a home for the handicapped close to my house. It was never for a reward or publicity. It was just to make those people happy.

Yes I like to make people happy in whatever way I can. What kind of social work do you do in your area. Can you share that with me? Would like to know what goes on around the world.

My manager is a generous man. He has many things in their house which they cannot use anymore. Some are used and some are brand new but they dont use it anymore. Last december, he decided to give up those things and give it to the poor. Toys and school supplies he gave to the children in the village who cannot buy those things. used clothes, shoes, kitchen wares... he gave to the people who cannot afford to buy those things. I think its a good idea to help people.

There are all sorts of things you could do...for example clothing, food or penny drives..help out at soup kitchens, voluteer at the local old age home OR childrens terminally ill ward of the hospital and so on.. Do I help others without thinking about rewards etc? Yes all the time..its just my nature to help others as best as I can ya know..

Its a wonderful and genuine thing to do.This motivates me to do the same thing. I would love to help others even if it means just spending time with old folks or listening to someones feelings. Why not join a club where they organise activities for the poor, handicapped, orphanages and so on. Through this you can help others and suggest anything new which is helpful for others. Doing something like this in groups is so much more fun. I want to do more when I'm earning money because as for now I'm still a student

I'd always like to help animals, when I was a kid I wanted to bring home every stray dog's I see in the street, now sometimes I would sneak out some food and feed the cats or dogs outside our house. I just don't know how to help you with that, but I'm sure you're doing everything right!

thanks Helping animals will not help with our project but I think it is very good to save animals and give them food and shelter. I also like to feed street cats and dogs.
