i love my soaps and have since i was 11 years old. i am not 47 and i have been watching days of our lives since i was 11. i also watch as the world turns and have been watching that for 9 years now. i was an avid fan of another world and when they took it off the air back in 1999, after watching it for 26 years, i felt like an old and dear friend had died. these shows have kept me occupied when i was lonely over the years and give me something to look forward to daily. it is an escape for me. i use to watch santa barbara when it was on but stopped watching that a few years before it went off the air. are you a soap fan?
