Let's all just stop talking for awhile!

I have a little idea that I hope you all will take to heart and participate in.
I want us all to just stop talking for awhile on threads.
In the spirit of raising moral and welcoming new friends and getting to know our favorite friends better - I would like to see you all take some time off from making responses, and posting discussions and do this instead:
Pick a few of your new and/or favorite friends here and go to their profiles.
Leave a comment with a graphic in their comment box.
Click on their pictures and rate them and leave comments there.
Check out their friends lists and their interest groups.
Just spend some time getting to know these friends a little bit better.
You may be pleasantly surprised at what you will learn about them.
Then come back here and talk your heart out about the experience and what you learned and what it meant to you.
One, two, three........................................GO!
Oh - and folks? Make sure I'M your first stop! ROFL

LOL! I don't know how to use those graphics. They annoy me probably for that reason. I do go check out profiles for my friends and usually listen to their music when I get sick of listening to my own.

Ah skinny, it's really easy actually. Just copy the code, go to the profile comment box and paste it in. www.satisfaction.com is a great site and easy to get the codes from. But I like the fact that you cruise profiles and listen to their music. That is really cool!

aiighty miss bossy one ordering us around.. ive scanned through my friends list.. and runned around to those i think as "faves" leaving comments and tapped my html coding knowledge with graphics. what did i learn.. ?
i learned that i have far too many peoples on my friends list that i dont ever see anywhere, or hear from, or know at all. this experiment of yers has caused me to clean out such clutter and make my list more manageable LOL
i learned that i have people with the same names.. so i wound up leaving a pic and more than likely a very incoherant message to someone that isnt gonna have a clue, because i thought she was someone else.. so now i am officially a halfwit, thank you!
and i learned that html codes still fry my brains, but i think yer pretty cool LOL

I check the profile before I accept the friendship! Since there is so little information next to the person's nickname, I read the interests to give me some ideas about the person, and if there are any pictures I check them out and rate them too! I gave it a break all night!

And, I saw that you left comments on more of my pics! I will have to tell Sydney that you are competing with her as far as beauty! She might have something to say to you about that! Of course, she cleans herself with her own tongue and front paw so...she is going for the more natural look! LOL!

hi did what you suggested and went to some new friends
also and was pleasantly surprised. I so love it that
my friends come from all over the world. It has
kept me from being so insolated in my dear USA as you all
have your dear countries too. and yet underneath
our different cultures we are all surprisingly
'alike in that our kids misbehave, and do not misbehave, and
our mates love us or do not love us, and all the other
little things that make up life all over.. I also learned
that I would not like to eat eggs that have a baby chick
in them although other people see that differently.live

Well done Hatley. I'm so glad you enjoyed my little experiment. I do agree with you. This instrument (the net) we have that allows us to meet and greet people all over the world is a wonderful thing in so many many ways and does teach us that no matter what our culture, people are pretty much the same everywhere, so what's not to love?
