How do you contribute to building peace in the world? Do you think your actions matter? What suggestion would you like to offer towards making this world a better place to live for us, and for our children and their children?

I could honestly tell that I could not specifically think on how to make the world peace. Maybe if I am the one who is going to participate in some organization for the World Peace then that is the time that I could say that my action matters. How I hope that there could be no war that other countries are doing this even until now. I know there are other ways to help even though the world is harsh, tragic and a lot of people are full of selfishness.

How to contribute for world peace may depend upon where we live, i think. Somewhere working for economic justice may matter most cos that contributes to violence most, in some other place it could be racism whereas at other place it could be even due to worldviews... So I think depending upon where we are situated I think we can contribute in little way. Thanks for the response.

For me, I think the best place to start is to realize what's going on around us and accepting what we lack. There are lots of factors to consider and may not be enough to be posted here. But there's always a better way to start. "Our differences". I think, maybe, when we all settle our differences, we can start anew and finally be able to uplift the human race once again. If only aliens were true (not sure if they do :D) they would say, "what pathetic little creatures. thinking about themselves and what separates them from one another". Passing through this stage would finally bring real cooperation. Not just for the sake of getting noticed or getting favors. But getting something we all have been hoping for... Peace.

Thanks for the comment. I am passionate about bringing peace in the world even though it may be in a small measure. Good to learn that there are people out there who are concerned too. :-)
