Help, getting wax out of a bottle? |
|
I have a very old bottle and I want to get all of the wax out of it and have no clue what to do to get it out. It is a glass bottle that I am cleaning up for a collection that I am starting. Thanks SO much for your time to help me out.

It will still have a film of wax in there, after that. When that cools you could then, possibly, put it in the fridge and then put something in the bottle that you cold shake against the sides thereby breaking up the remaining hardened wax that was left and shake the chunks out. Would that work? That's all I could think of. Here is a link that might help, don't know: http://texasbeautysupplyc...

kaysue4 (594) | 4 months ago | I was scared to freeze the bottle because it is SO old. I actually put it in the sink with VERY hot water and I was able to pry it out with a knife. Now I have to just soak the rest of it off of the bottle. Thanks.
