The burning inside

How wretched it would be to pull one's days in utter misery and confusion? Outwardly calm...but the burning inside is tortuous.Have you ever thought about people who live with fire in their heads ? Why some are subjected to relentless sufferings in life? Isn't God unjust in meting out agony to poor souls?

Hi sukumar74! I have suffered silently and no one can see in my face that I am hurt inside. I never blamed God for what is happening in my life and those people whom I love and care about. I know they are the results of the decisions we have made in our lives. God is always fair and is just. I hope and pray that in His Time, He will deliver us from all our sufferings. Take Care and God Bless! Celebrate Life!

A point of correction here, God does not put agony on any body, this life is full of choices, you are to choose the category of people you want to be. If one goes into robbery and he or she gets caught and get imprisoned, is it God that is torturing the person or himself? God has made all things well but the choice is yours.

Yes! It all goes to inequality and discrepancies. I do not know much about others, but for me, I have come to realize that I must be happy for what God has kindly offered- my sufferings, my failure despite being committed to my duties consistently, and few moments of happiness. He has kindly offered me more than what I actually deserve. What to do, but to tolerate His Majesties verdict.

As an atheist I have never seen this as a punishment that is out of our control. Family life, environmental factors along with many more play a part in how our lifes are mapped out whether rich or poor. Misery and confusion is man made and if people united together it could be eradicated tomorrow, but as we live in a selfish world where only a few will put themselves out for others things will never change. Take the UK, it was revealed today that there is institutionalised racism in the Health service. Many people are being denied access who have mental health problems because of their race. This then naturally has a knock on affect to other issues in their lifes which will cause them more suffering in the long-term. This has been known about for years but nothing was done. Many peoples lifes could have been helped, but as always it is man who makes the decisions whether to change things, not a God.

I guess blaming God is the easy way out,a lot of people blame God,but God has nothing to do with it...I have had troubles in my life as well as anyone..Troubles in life are brought about by sin that is in the lifes of humans...That does not mean the person with problems is a sinner,it only means that bad things in this life was brought about by sin( sin in the world)...God gave us free will to do whatever we see fit...He does not want to control us,but he is there to help us in times of troubles....I cannot think of one person that has had troubles in their life ,that turned to God for help has ever been rejected....As i look back most of my problems have been brought on by bad decisions I made or circumstances beyond my control.I never blamed God,but i turned to god and he always seen me through....If people would learn to turn to God ,instead of blaming God ,he would help them out of situations,or at least give them peace through whatever they are going through....God is NOT unjust,he is a JUST God,and he will keep you through the bad times and the good times...When you see a wreched soul, why not check out their life and see what brought them to this place, most of the time it involes some sort of problems that was incurred by them or their ancestors...............

Personally, I do not feel that God is unjust. I feel that God is trying to toughen the poor souls so that they can outgrow their troubles and emerge a conquerer. It takes great effort for one to remain calm outwardly, to mask that burning anger within and yet behave as if one is enjoying instead of suffering.

I don't know why we have mental or physical suffering in our life but I trust God. He knows why. I deal with depression and ADD (I think). The only thing I know is that it does bring me closer and make me more dependent on God. Whether that is the total purpose of it or not I do not know.

Maybe GOD is a capitalist who does not care about poor people. Something to think about... for the lack of a better explanation.

Hi sukumarji, Good to see you back in mylot. How is your health now, I hope that you have recovered full strength and vigour, by now. Mostly everyone in the world is faced with problems, but the intensity vary. The intensity of the problem is in direct proporion to how we approach it. Even now, my personal life is all sorts of disarray, hanging at the every one's mercy, but still i don't blame anyone. It is all because of my actions, be it karma or label it anything. God has nothing to do with our problems. Infact, it is ignorance of human, that makes him to think that god, gives them tons of problems. What does God gain, by giving problems? No, nothing.. He is a mere spectator of all our actions. All the results of our sufferrings is based on three R's namely, REACTION, REFLECTION,RESOUND. None can escape from the clutches of three R's. One best thing that all we can do, is to Surrender to the Feet of glory and take things as it comes. I pray God for your long and healthier life. Take care.

No i dont agree with you that God is unjust i want you to know that every situation a man gets into is somehow as a result of their right or wrong decisions or the decisions of people around us ,we all came to this world free of trouble but we gradaully pick them up as we go along in life

God gave us free will, He doesn't run our lives. Like a good parent, He lets us learn for ourselves and choose whether to love Him or reject Him. This includes deciding whether to help our fellow humans like those who are tormented, whether to reach out to them or reject them. What we do with those choices we're given determines how much we enjoy this life and the next.
