Have you ever bowled in a league?  

My husband and I joined a league with another couple shortly aftr we got married, and before we had children. We had a lot of fun, until the other couple broke up, luckily my parents took over for the them for the rest of the season. It was a good time.

Yes, it's true that bowling relieves stress and you'll forget all that stress you have when you are playing bowling. I joined a tournament with my friends in a company tournament for 2 consecutive years now. We were all beginners during the first year and our goal was just to learn the game, make fun, and enjoy the camaraderie of each and everyone. The tournament is held once a week after office hours. The game was exciting and what made us happier is that we won 1st place during the championship for the Class B group. Last year, we made it to the Class A and we almost won the 1st place, although we were still very excited about our progress because we almost beat the perennial winner in the tournament. Bowling is a great game!

I started off working in a bowling alley and got talked into joining one of the leagues. At that point I was a straight bowler averaging around 130.

3 years later and I'm now throwing a 180 average in 3 leagues and starting to participate in local tournaments (the first of which I finished 3rd due to a missed spare in the 10th).

League bowling to me is what bowling is based around. Competition.

Nope but I'd love to if we didn't have kids or had a babysitter. Especially in winter leagues are popular here, but no money & no child care = no fun.
