Do you prefer home-cooked food or outside food? |
| |
| I eat home-cooked food pretty much everyday and those who don't get to do so would call me lucky. Yet sometimes, I just feel like eating out for a change. Yet when I start to eat out for many consecutive days, I start to yearn for a particular home-cooked dish, then another and then... Humans are just that strange - the grass always seems greener on the other side. But that's just me. How about you? | | I'd like to go out for a meal once in awhile but I prefer my own cooking. I stay away from fast foods though. It may not sound nice, but sometimes the people that work in those places don't look too clean. | | | | | | |

| | I know I shouldn't but sometimes laziness set in and it`s just easier to get take out and get home from a hard day at work , convenient, yes, healthy, well, no. I think also it`s our society! we can`t even turn on the TV without seeing a fast food ad or a deal on something, 2 for one or more burger for your buck ! It really is crazy if you stop to think about it. | | | |

| | I guess you can actively search for more "respectable" eating places... | | | |

| | I prefer home-cooked food mainly because it is cheaper. Besides, I would be sure of what the ingridients are. I don't know in other countries, but here in my place, a lot of preservatives and food seasonings are added by take-out or dine-out food outlets to make their products more palatable. And these are bad for health, doctor. right? | | | | | | |

| | You are right that it is cheap to cook yourself and you can choose to leave our MSG and kind. | | | |

| | I prefer to eat home-cooked food instead of outside. Fact is that my Mom is a kitchen queen, and so is my other family members. However occasionally we take outside foods as well. | | | | | | |

| | hi lordwarwizard, I dont prefer one over the other, it just depends on the circumstances. My husband and me both love cooking so its no "chore" for us we try to avoid. We are both creative and like to cook from scratch, sometimes we change convenience products to our tastes. But eating out here and there when the finances permit also is great. We do that when we want to have a dish which is too fussy to make or we just cant fix at home. When we go out I never eat something I could also have at home. | | | | | | |

| | hi lordwarwizard, it means good food for weekends. As I come home no sooner than 8:30 pm on workdays sometimes 9:45 pm no time for cooking during the work week, but plenty of time to do that on weekends. | | | |

| | I can't agree to you anymore.Circumstances change,so as the preferences. It's circumstances that make us do so.We have no other choice. However,if burdening no presure,I prefer home-cooking for the reason that it's much more delicious and healthful. | | | |

| | Home cooked by a long shot lordwizard. But now and again, the temptation of the eating out is overpowering if you do have the funds to do so. For instance, when my son arrives here to me, I will take him to the Country Buffet and the Stripers Inn, and who knows where else? Wonderful variety of food for the buffet and the Stripers is the seafood castle! Happy Eating to you my Wizard! xo Whad id do wiz? hahahahah xo | | | | | | |

| | Yea, good point. If we have the money, we can certainly dine in fine restaurants all day long or hire top chefs to prepare home-cooked food for us at home. | | | |

| | I prefer home-cooked food mainly because it is what I love. Outside food is not so healthy and clean. I would like to cook by mysele if I have free time. And I like to cook porridge which is my favorite food. LOL | | | | | | |

| | My wife is an awesome cook and I love helping her out in the kitchen and eating home food. We do eat out about 1-2 times a week when we try out specific foods - but nothing as good and healthy as home food! | | | | | | |
