What kind of tent do you have?

I'm ready to buy my first tent? What should I look for?

We have a big two room tent. We bought it for going camping on holidays before we realized that we were going to become full time RVers. So now we have the tent for guests or as backup. :)

sisterjinx_ how are you? Doesn't it always work out that way? You make a decision and two minutes later when it's too late, you find out you made the wrong decision? Still, you're right. It will work for any guests!

Hi hun. **hugs** doing fine. Just busy busy busy. :) Yeah that is the way of things but I don't mind. At least we have a tent just in case we ever need it.

I like the old canvas ones but I don't think they make them anymore. Don't spend too little! The cheapest ones often leak. Pup tents aren't very comfortable, you should get one of the dome ones, they're roomier and have more space to move around in and put your stuff. Get a brightly colored tent if you can, it'll make it easier to find you if you run into trouble.

dragon54_ Ha! I like your suggestion about buying a coloured tent. If anyone will run into trouble, it's me. Too bad about the canvas tents. Doesn't it seem like they always stop selling the good stuff?
