What type of battery are you using?

Oh, you use the thin and light lithium for remote controls, since they are rechargeable so you don’t have to spend extra money to replace them after some time. I think it is more convenient if you use the spare ones when the others are to be charged. I believe the built-in batteries are rechargeable as well.

Wow! You use all the aces batteries, single A, double A and triple A. I guess during your school days you always got many aces in the examination . Energizer brand batteries are very common in my country as well. They are so popular that we could find them from stall to hypermarket.

You are right stephcjh, nowadays many electric devices are working on different types of batteries, so it is necessary to keep some extra ones as spare batteries. Just like you, I do buy those economical batteries which are the products of the hypermarkets of Tesco and Giant. I find that they are quite good and lasting as well . But my husband trusts only the branded and expensive ones ....

It is always safe to have extra stock of different volts of batteries in our house. So we don’t feel inconvenient or panic while we need to use them urgently. It is really annoying and frustrated indeed if we need a pair of triple A batteries urgently but only double A batteries are available. I do have many charged batteries that could no longer function.

Yeah, in our home there are lots of electric and electronic devices which need batteries to operate, so we have to spend a lot on buying new batteries. Definitely it would be rather convenient and economical if the tools we are using have built in chargers attached, like your new camera.

You are right, dear marketing, most of the toys our kids playing need batteries to power. During my kid’s childhood I bought him an electric toy racing car and a train as well. Both of these toys need the 9 volts alkaline batteries which was rather expensive. But this was worthy as I enjoyed seeing my boy having fun very much with the toys. Lol.....just same as my husband, you do like the energizer batteries as well.

For convenient sake, I bought an extra rechargeable lithium battery for my digital camera, so I could still have on in my camera while the other one is being charged. I totally agree with you vanities, rechargeable batteries are more expensive than the ordinary one, but worth to have them as they could last longer. Here in my place, the price of triple A battery is higher than that of double A

Hi yanstill, it is interesting to know that 5 is for the double A battery. if I were in china next time I know how to ask the shopkeeper to sell me the AA batteries. Thanks for the information.

It is rather interesting that the voltage of the battery doesn’t depend on its size. The square 9 volts cell is very much smaller than the large rectangular super heavy duty 6 volts battery which is shown in the attached photo. It is true that bigger battery will always contain more chemical than the smaller one and therefore could supply more electrical energy.

Every battery has its own lifespan. It doesn’t matter what type the battery is, just do men, their vigor and ability as well will decrease with age. So we must make full use of both our vigor and ability, just as we don’t waste any of our batteries. If we use the cellphone as a music player frequently with high volume then the battery will have shorter lifespan. Yeah, I believe nowadays every family does use batteries mostly for the TV and DVD controller.

That's right. Everything, not only batteries, has its own life span. So we should appreciate the things that we own and do not take them for granted. I always reuse and recycle things where applicable. And I will try my best to do the thing I want to do in my life before it's too late. Well then I need to buy another music player to play the music, but that's tedious and less convenient compared to using the cell phone to play the music anywhere anytime.

I utterly agree with you. We must fully make use of every thing that we have possessed at the present moment including our precious time. So I mostly tend to use the rechargeable batteries which could be reused as many times as they last. Of course to carry one device along with us is more convenient than to carry two in the same time. What’s more cellphone is the indispensable which is always with us so it is handy to carry a two in one with us. So it is worthy to spend money for the lithium batteries instead of buying a music player. Anyway the cost of the player is many times more than that of the cellphone batteries.

I think so. The cost of having a music player is much more higher than changing a new lithium battery LoL. Besides, the convenience of bringing one device for multiple purpose already worth the cost of changing the cell phone battery. Nowadays, I seldom listen to music from cell phone. I would rather enjoy the serenity and peaceful atmosphere nowadays. This could a sign of aging LoL.

Yeah, nowadays people tend to use devices with multiple purposes. People do like those light and rechargeable batteries for their handy and portable devices like cellphone, digital camera and music player etc.
Hi come on my dear, you are still very young if compare with me lol but I still like listening to music every now and then. This is the sign of aging and I think it is most probably you have changed your liking.

It's really true that people tends to use device with multi function. That's why the cell phone is become more and more complicated with all the integrated functions, other its original communication purpose. I think rechargeable batteries are more environmental friendly, because we could reuse it again and again. I saw the advertisement claimed that some rechargeable batteries could last for 1000 charges. I might switching my taste instead of aging LoL!

I have two pairs of double A and three pairs of triple A chargeable batteries. I have two chargers for these batteries. One is the slow charger which came together with the Sony digital camera I bought few years back. It takes nearly a whole day to charge the batteries, so later I bought a fast charger which needs only few hours to complete the charging. But I find batteries which are charged by the slow charger could last longer. So I use the fast charger mainly when the batteries are needed urgently or when going outing. I can see figures of 800, 700 and 1000 on the rechargeable batteries. I just curious what these mean for. Happy posting @_@
