Pay Money to Make Money

I just received an email from a friend that says that there is this great business opportunity to make extra money by signing up for this survey company. First of all, I belong to several PTC. PTR. PTP. sites and a few survey sites as well. I have been making money online for some time and I have been burned before and I am getting used to looking and checking things out before I sign up. I am just saying this so you know I am not a newbie here.
I don't have that much faith in the survey sites since many times I am told "Thank-You for your time, but we are looking for different demographics for this survey" This is usually after I have spent 10 mins or longer answering their questions and they probably already got the answers they wanted to begin with. You don't get paid for that time either.
This friend says this is better and you can make up to $280 a week or more, that is $8-$10 a survey. There is even a no risk 8 week trial period. If you are not satisfied you are entitled to your money back. They say you can get you nominal investment back just doing the first 2-3 surveys. The original cost is $79.90 but if you use the coupon it is half off ($39.95) It does sound good but like I said I am skeptical of survey sites and I am very skeptical of paying money to make money. I have not paid any money to make money since I started to create an income online for almost 1 1/2 years now. I may have reinvested some of my earnings and/or points to up grade of get referrals but that is all.
I guess I am asking, Have you ever paid a site to join them to make money, such as surveys, data entry or anything else. If you have, did it pay off and was it a good choice?
If you haven't then why not and do you thing you should have?

Hi Verity, Thank You for your response. You are absolutely right, there are many scammers out there. I have been scammed a few times, luckly, I did not lose too much invested money. But I have not lost any out of pocket money, only a little that I have already earned online. Good luck to you and stay away from those that want you to invest out of pocket money.

I don't remember signing-up in a survey site like this. Maybe, I was, but just to answer and give respect to the one that sent me the link. But to pay for it, I guess it's a big no for me. Maybe because I have nothing to spent, online. lol

I really don't want to spend that much if it is not going to be a good money maker. I was just hoping that maybe someone here at myLot would have belonged to this site and given me words of encouragement. That has not yet happened. Thanks for you response.

I have heard about those kinds of sites too and received a bunch of them. Though they sound very tempting, I don't want to try them. There is no assurance that you would get your money back. So i'm not trying those. Not now, not ever.

I only do some survey sites, like Opinion Outpost. I don't make tons from them, but about $30 per month, average. But I won't pay out money to belong to anything. If they can't let me earn it without paying out, then I will pass. I make enough from other stuff, I don't need to give them money.

You seem to have been around making money online for a while. The last time I found a website that could make good money for somebody was from the Irish company Lionbridge. Check out lionbridge.com. They were offering 6 euros an hour for the internet assessor position. There were no payments to be made. now I found out about mylot by chance. Could you give me a tip or two about websites I could check out.
Thanks

I am not sure how much 6 euros are or if they pay us here in the USA, but I will check it out. If your are interested in other sites go to my profile, I have a few links there you can check out and also if you look below my picture on the left in my profile you will see another link to my blog. There are several different paying sites, traffic building sites and affiliate marketing sites there.
Thanks for your response and suggestion.

hi,
The best way to make money with the internet is to start making web pages, or to become an affiliate to any domain registrant. make a website and post some banners. You will not make allot of money but you'll have to get some. i do like this and i can tell that i make money like this way.

Thanks for you response, I already have a website and two blogs promoting the different sites I am a member of as well as some of my affiliate sites I have. I do make money that way and manage to get referrals too. I was hoping that this would actually allow me to make even more money. Just not too sure about it any more.

Should we make an investment to do any online jobs........? also most of them are real frauds to get the work from us n not being paid. tis so happens in most of the online jobs.

As a rule of thumb I vowed that I would never pay money to make money....they should always be paying me :)

I agree, I have made it this long living by that rule, but this one looks pretty good and maybe too good to be true. I have just been thinking about "What if..." I would really like to be able to make that much plus what I do now online, then maybe I could actually stay home and work. I can't do that yet but maybe in 1-2 years if things work well online for me. Sometimes you just hope that this "one thing" will come your way and work out to make enough money.
