What kind of laptop should I get?

Hi, I have a budget of about 900 Us, or 600 euros, and well what do you think are reasonable specs for this price range? the only things I need are wlan, a big HD, and dual core processor, pref over 2.0ghz. And hopefully the graphics card is ok, but i prob wont be playing any new games on there. What brands or models would you recommend? Thanks!

I really like my Dell Insprion 2200. It is not new but it is a really easy to use fun computer. My husbands computer is alittle newer and has windows vista on it, but this one is much faster and more fun.

Man, all the computers here now that I've seen are preloaded with Vista, except if i buy it second hand off someone, but he already sold it :( Thanks for the all the help everyone!

well it is very difficult to tell for others which one you should buy. but yes, first you have to decide what is the use of it. if you want it for office and normal use then even a centrino or celeron will do the job. but if you will do high end jobs and also like to play games then you have to get a one with AGP card etc etc tech type config
