The fifa world cup has just finished last year and it wont take place until 2011.The match between USA and England was a friendly qualifying match.Those types of matches keep taking place.

England v USA was a friendly - qulaifying for 2010 starts at the end of summer although depends on which part of the world you are in. England for example starts in Sept, whilst USA I believe start in July time
