Being a mother, I've found the best way for my children to tell me, "I love you" best when they've done their chores, be nice to each other and give me the space I need. As a daughter, my parents just being there for me when I need a hug or a "pick me up" is their way of saying it. As a woman, the best way to tell me how much you love me...(and I'm not speaking for all women out there)...is by a letter.
For me, nothing says "I love you" best other than a simple letter. Why? because it takes more effort to think, start, write and complete than just a simple phone call. Phone calls seems to get you at the worse possible moment...and there's the issues of noise or distractions. At least with a letter, you can read it on your own time. Plus, you can see how talented they can be.

My best way of telling someone is indeed a letter or card.. as I communicate so much better by writing! Cause a hug is nice too! But phones? Yikes, I'm not good with phones, always come off a bit goofy I'm afraid.. I feel loved and happy when everyone is good natured! Not grumpy!

I hear you, Flowerchilde. I'm terrified of phones. It's worse now that I don't have caller ID, so I don't know who is on the other line. But, my real fear comes when I've got to call someone for a personal call. Don't know why, but I feel more than goofy, I feel like a complete dork. First off, what if I woke up said person or family? Or...what if they were doing their "business" and they knew who I was? They'd be mad at me either way...best email. *lol*

WoW!! Another person with my 'affliction'!
- I prefer to think of it as a strength however.. as let's face it, phones are just plain unnatural!

it doesnt matter how you tell someone that they mean to you, either through message, things, hugs or kiss..as long as it comes from your heart and you are sincere with it..it is priceless and i think its gonna be the best way to say how much they mean to you..right?happy posting!

"Actions speaks louder than words"
"Pen is mighter than the sword"
All of these sayings and more reflect on both the pros and cons of verbal and written forms of communication. But, in all of my blabber mouthing, it's what comes from the heart that's important.
