If you could befriend any famous person, living or dead, who would you choose to be your friend? What are the qualities that you would like in that friend? What made you choose that person?

I pick Heath Ledger. There was something about that guy that I liked. It seemed like he was kind of like me in a lot of ways. I've read that he was quiet and humble, and really cared about the people that he knew. He didn't seem like the Hollywood type and I thought he was awesome because he didn't want to be anybody but himself.

He was in a couple of teen flicks. And then he became really well known after Brokeback Mountain. He is the Joker in this upcoming Batman movie. I heard that his depression might have further announced itself as he was playing the Joker. I liked him in every role he's done because he always makes himself disappear into the character. He will be missed.

Wentworth Miller from the show Prison Break. He is not only gorgeous, but he has an Ivy League education which likely makes him pretty intelligent. And, he can sing which is extremely attractive. I love his voice when he speaks. I would probably lose myself in anything he had to say to me. He just seems like such a cool guy. And, if I could chose another it would be Sandra Bullock. I have read that she is really humorous. She tends to be so upbeat all the time and is quite a prankster on the set. So, she would be a great person to have as a friend as I am sure that she would always be able to cheer me up on days I was blue. So, you asked but didn't give your answer. Who would you live to befriend?

Those are very cool people to spend time with too. I might be interested to befriend River Phoenix to ask him what he was thinking by taking away his talent from adoring fans. Frank Sinatra would be interesting to befriend. He lived such a magical life. From hardship to glory with a lot of drama in between! I have never knowingly met an empath! Very cool!

Thanks for your great answers... I initually was thinking of people like Jesus and Krishna... then also people like Micheal Landon as he always seemed to be so kind and gentle and was known to be kind to his friends and also Mary Tyler Moore as when I was a kid, I loved watching her show. I also would have liked to be friends with the person who played Counselor Troy on Star Trek as I am sort of an empath too.

I think Oprah would be a cool person to have as a friend and I think she would have some very interesting things to say. I feel like I know her already from TV. She also loves her dogs like I do.

I don't think I could choose a friend based on what I see on tv or in a movie or read about them. Sure, it might be cool to be friends with someone like that, but I think friendship is one of those things that has to be acquired through conversation (online or offline) and without that, how could you really know you would be friends with someone?

I think that you are quite right in your assertion that it would take some conversation and time to make a good friend.

I would befriend a living famous person. I would most likely befriend Will Smith. Qualities that i like is humour and laughter. I am also considered funny(from the people who know me) and we would share so many jokes and hangout.

Sandra Bullock. She seems like a really nice, honest genuine person, she's a great actress and really funny so I think she'd be an entertaining person to be around.

I always liked John Wayne I dont know I just like the parts he played no matter what he was in he gave his all. He seemed to always to be strong and not really show much of his emotions except in the facial expressions

Good, good topic, i love it. Well, let's see i would choose Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller - I just love those guys - they are very, very funny, and full of life, i just love their humour and i would invite them to every party ;) i would choose them for roommates too, i think it would be a really enjoyable experience.
