Looking For Fanfiction Authors

Hi,
I just started a new fanfiction archive site (yesterday) and now I'm looking for some authors to submit their stories. Because it's brand new it not only looks very empty, until I have some submissions I can't be sure how well it works :) so not only do I want some authors I would also really like some people to test it out for me.
I'm hoping that once I have it fully set up it will be quick and easy for both authors and readers to submit their stories or find what they want to read.
I'm open to any and all suggestions or comments - particularly with things like categories/sub-categories(fandoms), character names etc or anything else you think it may need to make it as user/reader friendly as possible.

Well I suppose that answers my question about the genre of stories. I would suggest looking at similar sites and seeing which category are most posted in and which category has the most comments. Also add a few of the shows that you like as categories, and if you have not already ask for suggestions on categories on your website as well.
Good luck with your new endeavor and I hope you get many submissions. I myself would submit a story for you but I am not sure as to what fandom I would not only feel more comfortable in writing in but the fandom I would want to write in as well.

Hi,
Thanks for that, I have listed several different categories(fandoms) already, along with character names for character specific stories etc along with adding a note on the site mentioning that I'm open to suggestions if people want to submit stories to certain things.
I guess it's just a matter of waiting until I get some story submissions or suggestions and working on it as they come in.
If you ever do decide to write and submit a fanfic I'd love to have you submit it - I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to read :)

Good luck with your new site as I have said. Have you thought of possibly using a webring for fanfiction and joining that to get more visitors and possible authors? Also you could search for fanfiction that you enjoy and contact the authors. Many sites add the author's email address or another way of getting in contact with them.

Hi,
Yes at some point I probably will approach authors etc to see if they're interested in submitting, but before I do that I kinda want to make sure it's all working properly etc so hopefully I can get a few people (readers and authors) that are willing to test it out for me first so I know I'm not missing anything vital :)

I would love to help you out, but you don't have a lot of the fandoms that I write in.
Movies -- POTC, From Hell, Once Upon a Time in Mexico...
Television -- 21 Jump Street (I know that it may be old, but I LOVE 21 Jump Street because Johnny just looks so loveable!)

As mentioned the site is still very new - though it is growing (so much so that I just moved it all to a new domain http://fanfic-4all.com/stories) so any user/member feedback/suggestions are very much appreciated :)

I'm a fanfiction author. You know, you made the right decision joining fanfiction.net. It's a very great site to write your stories and have critiques comment on them. It really is a great site for expressing your ideas.

Hi,
Thanks for the comment but I didn't actually join fanfiction.net. I created my own fanfiction archive (the address is up in the discussion) so now I'm looking for any fanfic authors that might be interested in submitting their stories or offering any suggestions etc. If you're interested in adding your own stories to the archive I'd love to have them :)
