Climate Change is caused by the Sun, not man email this discussion to a friend?

Here is an article and video that shows how the Sun affects our climate and drives the so called global warming.

Or earth has been both warmer and colder then it is now and it is all part of a natural cycle with very little influence by man.

Here is the link....

http://www.dakotavoice.com/search/label/climate

After having watched the video, I would like to know what makes the most sense given the indisputable historic and scientific facts that are presented.... Do you think man is responsible for the Climate Change/Global Warming phenomena, or do you think it is the Sun that is the primary force driving our climate?

If you think it is man that is responsible for our climate, then what makes you think so?

We have had Ice ages come and go. I do not know how much more I can say about this issue. I do not know why so many people have fallen for this man made global warming hoax. I can understand why some Socialist would, but average Americans, it does not make any sense. Maybe it is because they have been forced feed a bunch of lies from the momment they turn on their tv, until they go to bed. Also it might have to do with the fact that history is not taught in those government mush camps we call public schools. If anyone learned about the ice ages would know that the Earth warmed up and then cooled back off again. North America at one time was covered in ice. Then it melted, then it came back, over, and over again this was the cycle. Currently the Earth is warming, no big deal.

Of course they would, but evidently school has changed somewhat since I went.

Now if the radio says it, or it was in a movie, then it must be true.

I do believe independent thought is fast becoming a thing of the past.

The sun is the primary driver of climate change on planet earth and our solar system. No one with intellectual honesty, common sense and knowledge argues against this. Sure, there are some interesting hypothsis to be considered, but in the final analysis, that naturally occurring nuclear fireball called the sun is the source of all heat, warmth, and light on earth. Changes in the sun's output directly affect the earth.

Man, this is like preaching to the choir.

So many people think they know all about global warming because they saw that Al Gore thingy... Or the IPCC said it so it must be true.

Meanwhile the same little group keeps posting and answering each other.

I might just as well have saved my fingers.

I certainly see your point and I understand the problem. The thing of it is that the IPCC report is very heavy reading. Very few people have actually read it. Nor can you even convince most people to try. It is that hard. There just are not that many of us who have read that report. This is intellectually intimidating to those who have not. They mostly won't respond to someone who has.

The statistical skill and analysis required to truely understand the deceptions in Al Gore's film are not common. Mostly they are to be acquired in graduate school. How many myLotters have taken courses in advanced statistics and how to design scientific experiments? This is what is required for the most part to see the lie in 'An Inconvenient Truth'.

The long story short is that most people are not going to believe a couple of guys on myLot are telling the truth while a bunch of reporters are lying to them. No matter how much evidence we can marshal.

Though I think that man possibly plays some role in this, I don't think he is the only chess piece on the board. I see evidence of global warming with the ending of the ice age. I may be wrong, but I think that happened before aerosol cans or automobiles.

There are so many factors at work that it is extremely irresponsible and foolish to blame just one, especially if the one (CO2) plays such a tiny role to begin with.

In fact, the prevailing thought is now that CO2 increases actually follow global warming trends by many years, as in hundreds of years.

It is the sun and water vapor that are the main drivers, with the sun coming in first by a large margin.

There are records of higher CO2 levels than what we have now, and in fact there are those who say that the CO2 levels are actually lower than normal.

We actually do not have the knd of influence that we would need to affect the climate, and we sure don't have anywhere close to the understanding about how the climate works to be trying to assign blame for the causes of natural occurrences.

Hello Destiny,

Sorry that I missed this when you first posted it.

What is so terribly sad is that so few people care what the real cause of cyclical, patterned global warming really is.

People blame the sun because they do not want to be responsible for their own actions. Try going to the south part of asia and you'll know how hot it gets here and maybe you'll believe that global warming is serious. Our crops are dying because of heat, our rivers/ oceans are overflowing thefore flooding the nearby towns (even without rain), even the fishes are dying because of the rise in water temperature. The people do not believe that global warming is because of our irresponsible actions that destroys the balance of nature are just washing their hands of the dirt they caused.

------------- From the Documentary SIGNOS -----------
Award-winning journalists, Howie Severino, Maki Pulido and Raffy Tima travel to different parts of the country to prove that the impact of climate change reaches far beyond the glaciers of the Polar Regions. Severino visits Bicol, where a 150-meter fault line and intensifying typhoons threaten to bury towns with landslides. Pulido discovers a town in La Union that has dwindled to more than half of its original size. In El Nido, Palawan, Tima ventures underwater to investigate a phenomenon called coral bleaching.

People blame the sun simply because it is responsible for ALL of the heat and light the earth receives.
CO2 is not even a relevant factor in the climate... It comprises a tiny amount of the total volume of the atmosphere and cannot possible effect the climate in any measurable or significant form.
If you really think the sun is not responsible for the earth's climate, then tell me what you think the earth would be like without a sun.
Let me give you a hint... It would be a lifeless chunk of ice.
While your junk science may convince some people, it won't work with me.
