Waiting in vain for your love?

Bob Marley sung a song once, one of the lines said that he doesn't want to wait for one's love. Personally, i don't cause i have been there and i can't even bare to imagine how stupid i was waiting for something that ended up with absolutely nothing.
So raises the question, do you wait? especially women. Do you wait for men to do the move? Don't you hate waiting especially if you're waiting for absolutely nothing? How bout you men? the same thing?

I am in this situation. It's driving me crazy! I don't know why some guys like to make girls wait, it's not fun you know. I've thought of moving on sometimes, but it's just so difficult. There was even a time when I almost had moved on, I thought I really was, but when I saw him again, it's as if nothing had happened. How do you get away from this situation, from this awful rut?

I experienced this before and i got over it because someone replaced him in my heart. Besides that, i think you should compromise and distract yourself,thinking less of him every day until you won't anymore. Thank you for sharing your experience(^^,)

Thank you. It's difficult though to replace him just like that. I mean, I have to find someone else. heheh. And for that someone else to love me too is another matter. Time will tell. heheh. I could try distracting myself with other things. Thank you for your advice.
Do you know why guys do this, make girls wait?

Well, i guess they make girls wait maybe because they are unsure of what to do or rather they don't like as that much to pursue us. But all they have to do is say it and get it over with and not just leave as hanging with hopes in our hearts right?(^^,)

Women are cheesy and romantic beings. They like waiting because they know true love will come. They like waiting because no matter how much it hurts, they know they fought hard for it. They like waiting because some women choose to be blind to the flaws of their loved ones. In short, women like to wait because they love truly. Like what they say, a woman's love is very precious. This is because most women choose to love with all their hearts.
Personally, as an (not a girl, not yet a woman) eighteen year old female who's had quite a bit of experience myself, I don't believe in waiting for that person I love. I'll only hurt myself and it's taken quite a lot for me to realize this. Besides, if there was true love, it should be exchanged and not just a one sided affair. But sure, I'll wait for true love. Because I know that it's worth the wait. (See? women, are cheesy)

Lucky for me i never had to wait for my now husband before our marriage...he always used to wait for me..its not that i'd love him to keep waiting for me and then go to meet him...but it used to be so that he always came a little before the time that we planned to meet always..so thats how i think a guy should be not to let the lady wait...thats a gentleman in all sense...and for us ladies its not that or atleast for me its not that i would want him to wait on me...but yes i wouldnt like to be kept waiting all alone ...so i understand what you really feel n mean.... :)

I hate waiting. I just waited for my bf today for a whole hour!I was so furious, but it subsided because he has his reasons and i was thinking about the times that i made him wait that long and now i feel what he felt at the time. But anyways, i also mean about waiting to be proposed to, but since you're already hooked up, haven't you experienced it in the past?(^^,)

i think it's a stupid thing to do but ihave done alot of it to no avail. you need to go on w/your life & quit waiting for something that's probaly not going to happen anyway.i don't know if there is anything like true love anymore.
