What's your take on coffee jelly? Have you ever made it?

I tried out some coffee jelly a few nights ago, and I'm totally hooked! I really don't like coffee, but the texture, the amount of sweetness, and the coffee made a winning combination that I can't seem to get enough of. We got it at a local Asian market (that really should be called an ethnic market, since there were a lot of other regions represented 
), and already went back once to get some.
I googled it and see that there are a lot of recipes for it, which is great! I'm going to try making it, but I thought I'd check and see if any mylotters out there make it themselves. I'm going to try it with regular sugar and then I'm going to try it with stevia and see what happens. How do you make it?

I've never tried doing it.i started to like it when i went to a japanese grocery nearby our house.Coffee jelly really taste good and tasting even better when its really cold.Once you taste it you'll like be addicted to it.I have a sleeping problem and i stopped drinking coffee.But when i got to taste it,it became my favorite.I'll try to find how to make it in the net.

It's great stuff, isn't it? I've had a lot of luck making it. The recipes online are great, but I always add an extra pack of gelatin so that I can cube it easier.

I never heard of it. i got some jelly with coca cola in it though at a craft bazzare last year. It was kind of good,but I dont think I would ever make it.

Hmm, CocaCola jelly would be pretty interesting. I'd have to try it with Pepsi, though, because I'm not a big Coke fan!

Does it taste like coffee? Or is ut meant to be had with coffee? It sound like it would taste good on cake or ice cream. xD

The stuff I had tasted like sweetened coffee. It seems to be, basically, coffee jello. If you manage to find it, definitely try it!
