I just downloaded Mozilla Firefax and its not working for me

I was intrugued by the White Smoke add-on, but when I try to use it I get the Product Page trying to sell it to me? What goes with this product? How do you use the dotted red line that shows under your mis-spelled words? Please help me with this, because I'm quite disappointed already!
