I was at this real estate conference and he was telling us about tech gadgets to use in our business and to put on our websites. Well he said there is a site which has software to download to your smartphone that has GPS and can locate phones in your network. It does cost money, but one of the features is that if you misplace the phone you can call it and go to your computer and track it. And the same goes for members of your family.
Let's say your teen says I am going to Joe's house. You call the phone and it pinpoint where it is and you will know if it was true on not. It is vitotecnology.com

Aha!! I like that!! I wish that had been around when my kids were teens. I think it's well worth the money.
I had a parent once say to me, "I love that my teen has a cell phone because I always know where he is."
I said, "No, you always know where his phone IS... with him but you don't know where HE is!"
She said, "Oh...."

Well think about it also as we get older and misplace things. And if someone stole your phone the police could be alerted to where it is. Kind of like a lojack for your phone.

That's a really good idea! It would be nice if we could all trust our children enough not to utilize something like this, but really....when you get right down to it, how many of us did that to our parents? And how many times didn't we get caught. It scares me in this day and age. Thanks for the heads up!
