my husband loves his job and enjoys it as well and have been on this for 29 years and yet he is planning to avail the early retirement the agency have implemented...for those years he rose from the rank and become a supervisor(he is 52 yrs old and a mechanical engr.)his decision materialize when a new director/manager was assigned...and during his(director) term of office there are so many irregularities(including graft and corruption),mismanagement that being done by him in this office...to make it short..my husband and the new head of office cant see eye to eye due to his acts...now my question is if your not happy with your job anymore and the likes...will you opted to avail the early retirement /or resign to your present job? or just ignore the big boss? and work as if nothing happens...

I would take an early retirement then find something else to do to fill my time.....so I could get out of the stressful situation. There are things that are done where I work that I question but since I do not own the business and for the most part like my job but if I could retire..I would do it in a heart beat!
