I need some help! My husband and I are directors for the youth department at our church and we need some fundraising ideas! We already did a sale of frozen cookie dough in the wintertime, and we made about $900 profit - not bad for about 15 participants. But we need something to do this summer and do not want to do car wash's. Any good ideas?

How about those frozen pizzas and the cheesecakes? They're HUGE in this area (pricey, but apparently good money makers). And, the products are actually very good. Not like those silly $4 calendar books you can buy at the dollar store. I think the one is Cinderella Cheesecake and the other is Joe Corbi pizza kits. There are apparently several cheesecake companies online, several with Better Business Bureau credentials. But, those are two ideas that are very popular in South Jersey.
Good luck!

We don't do fund raising here. We just let the people know. But don't people just give for programmes there? I feel people should give if they think it is important.

That's a great profit! Have you tried selling tickets for spaghetti supper? To cook for about 100 people it cost you about $50-$70 for every thing. You sell 100 plates, that is $500 - with what you put in it you can make about $430 profit.
Good luck!
