Do you always save the best for last? Or best first?

When comes to food, I just love to enjoy the best part last, taking my sweet time. I feel it has no meaning just to gobble it up without appreciating or savoring it as I wouldn't know when will be my next time having this delicious food again.
And it's also like making good memories...lol. Guess I am passionate about nice good food and I feel it's also wasted if no appreciation given and especially to the person who had spent time cooking/preparing it.
But for other things I would have to make it first as to avoid any problems that may arise later on..:)
What about you ? Are you as passionate like me when comes to food or perhaps dealing with different things?

Lol... Devil, that's true too and I can see that clearly in buffet parties, hotels as such. You only be left with the leftovers for sure.
Would be great if in here they would come up with an incentive of more points/earnings for the first one to post a response to a topic. That will be more challenging and exciting. Don't you think so?

Hie jydr777, that's a good trick you have picked up. And will be great trick to teach young children as they are picky nowadays. When I was a child, my mum was very strict and would sit beside me and make sure I finish all my food. No leftovers was allowed. But somehow later on I begin to enjoy food.

Hi Desirerra!
As a food lover, i tend to save the best for last also.
Especially if it's something that i crave and haven't had in awhile.
I take my time and savor every bite.
For some reason it just taste better when you save it for last.
I'm the sort of person that dont like to dwell on bad things, get it over with and move on is my motto.
But when it comes to good things like pleasant company and good food, i take my time and relish every moment.

Hie Dragonfly, YES, food no doubt about it and could trigger huge cravings.
There were times at work I would think of my favorite food awaiting for me at home and I could not help thinking when I could hurry back and have them.
And when I was having them then I could finally declare that the day ended well...lol
Cheers,

I don't save the best. I will use or eat the best at first. Life is short, why not have the best at first, in the future you will have the best thing again. Leave the best for last, the best maybe will become bad, or you will don't think it's the best thing then. So everytime, I eat fruit or other food, I will have the best at first, other's will have it after. Do this also express every person's outlook of life?

Hie ynigz, everyone has a different view whether to their surroundings or life itself and that's what makes the different from each other and the uniqueness in us.
When you prefer the best first, you have already expressed your outlook of life which is suitable and relevant for you. That's is a good mixture of both to create a balance in this life.
I would do that too depends on the circumstances and surroundings,I just go with the flow which is revolving in time for e.g have best first when I don't have the time/in a hurry and save for last when I have the time ( I prefer the most ).
Cheers and happy posting!

Hie Naseeha, I usually do that with food but not with the books though..lol
If that's a book I have been waiting for ages, I can't wait to read and enjoy it. In fact I will bring it along to everywhere I go :)

I remember as a kid I would always eat the best things first. Then I wouldn't have anything to drown out the taste of the things I didn't like. Now I eat the things I like the least first, mixing them i with the things I like to make it easier. Then I eat what's left of the things I like. It makes me enjoy the foods I don't like more and leaves me with the taste of good food after I finish the meal.

Hie Slyvixen, That's a wonderful thing to do and a good habit. Neither ways, no food is wasted. A good idea for kids who hate to finish up their food, just mixed them all up :)

I always save my best for when it comes to food.. hehe ^_^ Because if i happen to have something i dun like on my dish, then at least i have my favourite food to count on to foce myself to eat that.. hehe ^_^ AS for other things, maybe running or sports, i will distribute my strength equally to maintain my best throughout the whole period ^_^

I agree with you. When it comes to food I do save the best for last. And I always take my time eating it, lol. I'm like this with getting work done too. I was suppose to write more today, but the thunderstorm knocked out my power. On any other day I would have been procrastinating anyway. I try to get some writing done before I go play my guitar or watch TV.

Hie drowninghavocx, guess we live to eat and enjoy food..lol. For all the pleasure food has given us, I think it's a right thing to do - save the best for last so that it's presence is appreciated and treasured.
I agree too it does not apply to many other things and depends on circumstances. But would be wonderful if there is always enough time for everything that is nice.

Hie Cream, yes me too..like them piping hot steaming..mmmmm. And the crust I would have it with catchup or lots of cheese.
I have been posting on lots of food topics today and making me salivating over the food in my mind...lol. Bet I will even have dreams about them later on,
Cheers,

Whether it be food or something interesting, I make it a point to save the best for last. Hehe. I'll endure the hard part first or enjoy the not-so-good stuff first and get through it, and savor the best. I find it sweeter this way. Like a loooong and busy day, and enjoying a gleeful does of my favorite pizza and chocolate shake at the end of the day. haha. I believe that when you get through something difficult and when you know something really good awaits you, you'll find a good sense of motivation and a feeling of great satisfaction in the end. ^^

And have second helpings too..lol Anyway food is a celebration by itself whether you are happy, sad, excited, motivated, etc. everyone tends to eat a lot.
We are lucky to have a choice to make it the last.

Good things as fast as possible, and good food only at the ending, hehe. So we are quite similar in this case.

Hie Zergonipal, hope you are having a nice time. What can I say further " great minds think alike" although we don't require much when we are enjoying our food..lol
Happy posting! Cheers,
