Wait For You...

Yes, I have. It was the longest and most heartbreaking 5 years of my life. I wasn't consciously waiting for that person but looking back it seemed that I did wait. It was my senior year in high school and even though she made it clear that being friends was all we ever could be, I patiently waited while praying that she'd reconsider. We went to different universities but that didn't stop me from hoping she'd change her mind. It's all a blur now but though we didn't end up together, i'd still consider the ordeal fruitful. After getting your heart crushed, you learn not to hurt others that way.

Tried this and I must say its very tiring, exhausting and was not worthy at all. He knew I was waiting for him but he took me for granted and I learned my lesson since then.

It was actually my husband who waited for me. He pursued me for almost a year. Then we were bf/gf for almost nine years before finally tying the knot. I think, considering how we're doing now, he would say that it was well worth the wait.

I almost forgot...I spent almost two years waiting for my baby! I had difficulty getting pregnant. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and made two attempts with fertility pills. Both failed. I was so depressed that I was always crying and my husband would always comfort me and assured me that things will work out fine and that it will be alright if we will not have babies, anyway we have each other. But I so wanted to have a baby that I could not be easily comforted. Finally, I was given this pill - Metformin - that my OB-Gyne said could help me also and it worked! When I gave birth to our princess I knew that it was definitely worth the wait. She will always be precious to us.

I spent five years of high school waiting for a guy to notice me. I was painfully shy and we were the best of friends. I couldn't bring myself to tell him that I really cared for him as more than friends. We went to the same college (even shared a locker for the first year!) and remained close friends after we finished school and moved on with our "grown up" lives. One year, he came to see me on my birthday. I was so surprised he even remembered it. We sat for hours chatting and catching up and, in the course of the conversation, I finally admitted that I'd crushed on him all that time. I expected to have a good laugh with him over it but, instead, he went very quiet and just looked at me and said .... "WHY didn't you ever TELL me???" In that one moment I realized that he'd cared for me too. By this time, he was in a long-term relationship and I was getting divorced and caring for a terminally ill parent. There was no possibility to pursue anything nor would it have likely been a good idea anyway. But, all in all, I guess I chalk it up to "opportunity missed"... might not have even worked out but it's just something I'll never know.

Yes I have,I'm waiting for almost 2 years.Courting her for almost 2 years is quite not easy to wait.It really test your patience.

Yeah I did wait for someone before hoping that it would work out until one day I get tired of waiting and finally realized that I'm just wasting my time for nothing....:(...But that was over and I'm happy about it...=)
