Hi All, I was with my friend on my office picnic ( we went to Shivaji fort, panshet, and kadhakwasla.) Shivaji fort is on mountain and it is on height, So when i went to see down my friend shouted "get back" "first you get back other wish i will hit you", i ask him why he said "i am affraid." fine..
then we went to the dam its deep but when i went in the water, it was till my knees and i was going to go inside, then again my friend shouted "dont go further come out"
I ask him why, he had a bad experiance - he lost his friend in the river(in his childhood) and found dead. I think thats why he is affraid of water. and he said at the end that "i dont want to lose a friend again." It was touching. I thank god for a wonderful friend. enjoy :)

I'm not affraid of deep water at all but I am little bit of heights... When I go to the shore, I always get yelled at by life guards for going out too far into the ocean... I don't mind heights as much if I'm in a secure area, air-planes, high buildings where I'm inside an office looking out the window but when I'm out int he open space, I do get affraid a bit... That's pretty interesting too because whenever I go on vacation, I request highest floor room avaliable... I just think the views are better... I don't like looking straight down...

I also fear heights so badly I will not go up in building
thats over two stories high. I have always had a fear
of heights since I was a small child.I have never really
known why I have this fear. I am not afraid of water but I
can understand why your friend was afraid. If he had lost a
friend in a drowning accident he would be afraid. lol.

Even though I am quite tall, I do fear being at high places. That goes with deep waters since I really don't know how to swim. I can handle pools since most of the ones I end up going to have depths that would still allow my head to be on the surface.
I wish I could do bungee jump. I guess that would cure my fear of hieghts and then, I really want to learn how to swim so that I can actually enjoy being on water whenever I get the chance to be at pools or even open oceans.. then again, I might as well be just along the shore lines of the beach than at the open oceans

Hi Yogesh,
Things like these happen sometimes which are not in our hands. I have also seen and heard many people who have great fears of heights and deep waters.
They would have had bad experiances in their childhood like your friend had.
Whem my son was going on a trip his friend more than me kept telling my son not to go near the water falls.it is very dangerous etc. This happened when they were in their 9th or tenth class. But even after 15 years, they are very close friends. Some friendships are like that. Treasure a friend like that, you do not get one like that everytime. All the best

I think both are scary but for the sake of the choice (lol) I think it is more scarier in deep waters, its just that when I think of deep water, specially when there is a strong current on it and roll of big waves as well its like so frightening. I am sorry for your friend its not easy when people get into a traumatic experience.
