I think this speaks volumes about the necessity for further education. I mean criminals are just people trying to take shortcuts. Not always the brightest bulbs on the tree. This is a pretty extreme case of stupidity, but it doesn't really surprise me. We even have a TV show over here in the USA that showcases our dumbest criminals. At least they give us a good laugh.

yet another fine example of how stupid kids have become. It saddens me that generations seem to get dumber as time goes on. This generation of kids has access to more information and knowledge than any other generation in the history of the world, but they are some of the biggest idiots I have ever seen, and I am only 30. I know we all did some dumb things when we were kids, but if you study society, you will see what I mean. Sure, kids today may know more about computers, or how to work all those fancy IPOD gadgets and things, but as a whole, they are probably the dumbest generation in the history of the world. They drive $30,000 cars that mommy and daddy no doubt bought for them, yet they don't know how to check the oil in the cars they drive. I could probably think of some more examples, but you get the point I am trying to make. They don't know how to do much of anything that is of any real value in life. They are good at video games, but unless you are going to design them for a living, what good is that. I am sure our parents probably said the same things about us...as did their parents, but I think this generation of kids takes stupid and lazy to a whole new level.
