i like beegles and shih tzu..^_^ and we also have a labrador..all of them are on the top ten..^_^

i have japanese spitz.

Yeah, it's not in the top 10 but Japanese Spitz are well-loved that's why I decided to start this topic with my "Japanese Spitz" interest.

I like big dogs rather than small, so I do like the retrievers, the Boxer and the German Shepherd mentioned in your list. That's not to say that non pedigree dogs are not to good though. My dogs don't hold a pedigree, well at least not one we know about as they were strays, but they are still wonderful dogs.
I must admit that I don't really like little dogs. Chihauhauas and Shih Tzus are something I'd never choose for myself.

Oh it is not on the top ten. But my favorite is Japanese Spitz. They are noisy sometimes but so charming and jealous too... hehehe
