Does mylot pay for best response?

I don't know because the earnings are updated for all the posts together so it's impossible to tell except you post only a single post and get the best response.

Well,I am not so sure about whether getting best responses increases your earnings.But,I don't really care.I am more happy when I get a best response whether it brings me more earnings or not.

And as for as your second question:-

Its true that only the discussion starter has the right to award the best response for a discussion.Also,the length of the post is not necessarily determines the best response.The response which the discussion starter feels as the best and has given a lot of useful information,will eventually be marked as the best response.

Yes, i came to know through some of our members discussions/response that you will be paid extra for your Best Response and also if your discussion will took place in the "mylot digest", i.e., Top 10 Discussions of the day..

and also regarding the marking the best response.. yes, the person who start the discussion is a sole owner of the discussion, so, he only authorised to mark the best response.. no one have a right to mark the best response of your discussion..

You have every right to select the best response, even if
"the response is very poor,
very very bad,
non sense reponse.."

that doesn't matter.. if you feel like to mark the same as the best response.. thats all you can able to mark the same as best response.. that much of rights you have..

Mylot does pay for best response and the person who
posted the discussion is the one to pick best response.
It is his choice,not mylots and he or she can chose
'which ever one that he or she wants. there are no rules
as to length, it is up to the poster to do what he or she
wants to do.

I only have one best response, and if it's true that we earn extra credit for that then somehow it will motivate us to give more meaningful insights to every discussions posted here.
