Do you believe there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

I remember that, as a young child, my sister, our friend, and I went on a search for that pot of gold. The rainbow appeared to end in an adjacent neighborhood, so we all hopped on our bikes and excitedly raced there, talking about how we would divide the gold and how the first person there would get the most of it, and what we would do with it. I cannot remember what my sister and my friend wanted, but I wanted to buy a wolf as a pet. Anyway, we got to where we thought the rainbow ended, and we were all upset because we thought someone beat us there first. But, we had a really good time. Even if there is no pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, it is worth the chase.

I don't think I've ever believed that, even as a child. I never believed in any other stories adults tell their children: Santa, the easter bunny, pots of gold. My parents never let us belive lies like that. If they did it would have just set us up for mistrusting people. I'm not saying that everyone is trustworthy but we should trust some people.

Always as kids we thought that there was a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it,and we used to go hunting evrytime to see if we could find it but it never worked.But my Mum always said if we kept on hunting we would find it but we never did,we used to think of sall the things that we would be able to buy with the pot of gold.ABut now im a grown up I dont believe there is the pot of gold there at the end of that rainbow.

I wish there was because we see enough of them down here and I'd sure find that pot of gold! Of coure, the minute I did something at the house or in one of the vehicles would break and I'd be broke again.
