I have been affected with some of the Internet virus once at my office, When i was in leave for 3 days in my office, somebody was used my System and browse something..
Due to that some of the virus got affected. Later once i join to office, i have ask my System person to check this out.. he found that some of the virus has been affected, then he has installed couple of Antivirus and run the same for a half day, then it will get it alright..
From that day onwards, i never allowed any one to work on my system even in my absent.
Infact, during my absense if my boss needs anything, i have infromed the system person to help him out to give those data.. if he found any doubt, i have asked him to call me at that..
Will you be come across any such problem of affect by the Virus Attack..??
Please post your experience..

Thats why we need a really good anti-virus. If not you could even lose your precious job!

Yes, my windows PC used to get affected a lot. But now I dunno its just stopped. Maybe dude to the Anti Virus I am using. AVG. Its a very good Anti Virus and protects the system in the best way possible. Although I do not allow any of my people to browse from my computer, sometimes due to flash drives and other software virus seep in and spoil my OS. I have to reinstall OS every time that happens so I have given up windows and bought a Mac.

Sure my computer has often been affected by viruses. The most irritating one for me was the i hate mozilla virus. It was a usb virus. Till then i was not using a good antivirus. After that i have been using a different antivirus and regularly updating it too.

Well, once my friend's computer was affected with virus. From then onwards,I regularly update my anti virus and also my anti-spywares.I am confident that my computer would be able to withstand comfortably at least against moderate level threat of viruses.
Also, another problem thats concerns me is keyloggers and tracking cookies. My anti-spyware constantly detects adwares, tracking cookies and keyloggers.
Well,do you have any idea from where they could come, like whether its mails,or some sites?
Cheers! Have a good day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

Yep and I don't stop attacking it until it's gone. Completely. I've known people just refragment thier drive or reinstall windows (that never helps). Sometimes they get lucky. My favorite thing to do is drive recovery. Haven't seen much activity anymore. Last one i corrected was an external drive that a viras had man a separate partition to hide the main drive. Luckily it was meant for an internal HD and couldn't access the proper ports. It duplicated alot of the files though. All better now.

I have had this kind of problem in computer but it was my personal computer so I formatted it and got rid of viruses. After this incident I have installed nod32 anti-virus,firewall and anti-spyware. Till date there's been not a virus problem as most of them are deleted by the anti-virus. If you want to keep you system protected then regularly update your anti-virus although nothing is fool proof. If you want maximum security then you should move onto Linux which has no viruses. I am using ubuntu Linux and I am happy with that although at start you will face some difficulties but after that you will love it.
