should school uniform be banned???

That is what the uniform is about Equality? Every one is the same and you all represent your school there would be some students who could not afford to whear expensive clothes and they would be ridiculed. The uniform looks smart and every one looks good.

I don't think it should be banned since there is actually no disadvantage wearing it. Well, for some students, of course, it has disadvantage but yeah, you're right. We have to express ourselves and uniforms are hindrances to do that.

i dont think school uniform shud b banned...in fact it is a very good concept...the main reason is equality tht is very important in an educational institution..if the bann it then the economical disparities will start reflecting in childrens clothes shoes hair do and it will also divert childrens attention from studies..they will keep thinking abt there clothes and looks this will just lead to loss of focus at a very young age..i usd to love my uniform in school..it was smart..

Why would you hate wearing school uniform? But if you hate wearing it, then, enroll in a school which does not require school uniform. I like seeing my kids wearing their uniforms in going to school. They look dignified.

if the student capacity too large in the school, it is better to have uniforms, form safety concerns it is better to have unitofrms and maybe identity cards , but if the students per class is very low liek for advanced courses it is better not to have uniforms

i think you should follow what your school rules are...wehihiihihih...anyway you can express yourself anytime yoou wanted...go with the flow...

My nieces and nephew had to wear uniforms from k-6th grade and they all looked sharp and was cool that everyone was in the same thing. But also if the parents couldn't afford the uniform the kids were not required to wear them. I am for uniforms but I think it should be straight across the board. If a kid can't afford them then some kind of plan should be worked out so that they to will be in a uniform. I know the Catholic schools in the area everyone wore and wears uniforms. I think when kids get into 7th thru 12th they should be allowed to wear what they want to express who they are with in reason. Just because a person has more money and can buy better things shouldn't matter. We didn't have a lot of money growing up but my mom made sure we had decent clothes to wear and that they were clean. She would make us dresses and hand me downs we had to wear as well.

When I was kid, I hate the uniform school. It's because you just look same and wore the same color for everyday. But when time pass by and I grew up I do realize the importance of the school uniform. What could I observe are by getting the school uniform is for make the kids in disciplines. It gives the picture that some rules must be obeyed. Besides, if the kid use the same uniform, they will no bog different with the poor kids. Just imagine what these kids will wear to school if there's no such uniform school? Some of the fortune kids must feel so sorry on them but some of them must feel so proud to. Well, we don't these kids to be that bad.That's some of the pro in getting the school uniform.

I like the idea of uniforms. I am a mom of course so i like it because it would make shopping alot easier you dont have to make sure that what you buy your child is okay. I feel here there is to many bullies who pick on kids clothing. It does stop a kids expressiveness but they can wear whatever when schools out.

yes, that is true..wearing an uniform makes the students feel that all are equal in the school. Otherwise the well-to-do people may wear good costly dresses..Other students those who cannot afford for it may feel hurt. This may also bring an inferiority complex among the less affordable students..Above all, have you ever noticed how beautiful it looks to see the students wearing a uniform dress.I had been the pupil leader in my school days. I had to co-ordinate the school activities daily.So I guide the students from the stage..It looks so nice to see the students in a common single uniform..the picture still remains in my mind even after 10 years.

Some school uniforms are so cute (especially those Japanese school uniforms). I like my Middle school uniform. I think it's nice. I prefer wearing school uniform as it saves the hassle of thinking what to wear every morning. You can still express yourself wearing school uniform. You can do it through accessories, bags and etc.

Hi antony, when i was in school even i hated to wear the uniform. It may becaues i had many good dress and i always wished to shown these to my friend. I liked your point that school uniform shows equality. So i feel uniform are good. But i dont like uniform in college. atleast college should stop this. enjoy :)

i still prefer school uniforms..you will be distinguished when wearing one and it prevents outsiders from entering the school premises and it is much safer that way

I have had to wear a uniform all my life, kindergarten and to now (This next school year will be my last year wearing one as I am going to be a senior!), and quite frankly, I am used to it. Personally, I think it takes alot of stress out of having to think about what you want to wear and how you wear it. I can see why my school wants us to wear uniforms though, and I honestly stopped caring about it.

I am totally against baning school uniform and i think there is some sort of disciplines comes to children's mind if they wear a common dress.school is not a pace to show our fashion and it a divine place.

Its nice to wearing uniform in school time i now students don't like in my student life me also didn't like But now i often miss much those days

School uniforms are neat and actually gives the student his/her identity and his/her school. I think school uniforms give order and formality to students and their schools. But... it's good to have at least 1-2 days for everyone to wear civilian clothes. That would be the best option. To make students wear their uniform and at the same time the opportunity to express themselves by wearing what they like.
