Do you like fashion?Speaking of fashion have you ever thought about how fashion is connected to politics and society. I just read an article, this women called Tina who Tina has a really interesting view of D.C. that involves the connection between politics, society and fashion. She's lived in Washington, D.C. Seven administrations and she studied fashion,as she says. Vies are like this for example, the Clinton administration was more hip because the Clinton's brought in a much younger, hipper, much more liberal crowd which is much open and less conservative clothing. Interesting, right now? I never thought that fashion can be connected with politics. What do you think?

Yes, good siut can really change the voting. Our outside look is very important if we want to be politics. I don't think that any of us can imagine the ammount of money they are spending on their clothes and gadgets just to look better. Cheers and happy myloting.

Virtually EVERYTHING is connected to politics in one way or another if you look for the connection. Politics is involved in kids' sports as well as adults, in the entertainment field, in health care - why would fashion be any different, right? I remember some time ago hearing that it can be predicted who will win the Presidential election based on the current popular length of skirts! I forget which way it went but it was said if skirts were short one party would win and if they were longer the other one would be victorious. I guess it would make sense that conservatives wouldn't approve of anything other than conservative clothing and liberals would be more - well, liberal about how they dress and what they consider appropriate. I read about this a few weeks ago, only they connected fashion to the economy. This year, the fall collections will be showing dark colors because the economy is so bad. It listed some facts, too. Every time the economy has been bad, clothing has become dark and when it's good, the clothing has brighter colors.
