Does the Do Not Call list really work?

I had put my phone number on the Do Not Call list and am still having telemarketers call me. I have an unlisted, unpublished number that I only give out to a few people. Telemarketers call when I am sleeping after working all night-it is irritating

Its supposed to, but everything has to be tweaked. If your number has been on the DNC list for more than 31 days and you get a solicitor phone call tell them that you're on the DNC list and you're going to report them. Ask for their name and their company name, that should scare them enough to stop calling, if they don't get the message, report them. The DNC website has a form that you fill out, that should work for you.

It does not work either for me too. Inspite of registering in DND I do still get calls and messages too. Wish if any of your responder could give some tip how to take some action against it.

Yikes. I work in an inbound call center and I know some people who works for outbound sales/telemarketing. I think there are fly-by-night companies who are so irresponsible. well, i would encourage you to report this.
