I am very worried! This time may not get hike in time:(

You people working in IT industry have the credit cards which swipes well. Do you think you buy more than what you are eligible in the card. You get 30 to 45 days time to pay and you can pay it off.

Hi subha, I hope what you heard is just a rumor and hope that you could get the money as usual. You still have few days to update before 20th and your brother and his family will visit you the next Saturday so you still have time to solve your problem. Don’t have to worry much and I believe your niece and nephew would understand your situation and wouldn’t blame you for not buying them any things in case you couldn’t get the money in time. I am sorry to hear that. Maybe you will have to postpone buying for your nieces and nephews. I am sure that they and your brother will understand. The also know the high cost of living it takes just to survive also. It is outragious just to pay your bills these days. I hope you can get the extra money this month though.

Due to the US$ weekness, most of the IT companies, not get their profit as projected last year, it doen't mean that they end up with loss.. But in Chennai, lots of my friends got only 3% to 8% hike in their basic, this will not give much hike in thier take home pay, if they ask for the same, the HR executive told them that, interested you can continue, else you can look for the alternative like that.. My friends plan to attend couple of interviews in the next week. Propably they will not continue here for long times, because they have promised for the minimum of 25% hike in this apprisal, during the previous year.. but this increase will not get it satisfied them.. because they have got a good opportunity in other firm, but they are not considered it because here they have promised for the 25% hike.. now they have played their very well.. Couple of our top official has been shifted to Korea.. now we got the good people to be replaced on the place.. even though we got the good appraisal, they have not given the good increments.. Don't worry, in your case this will not happened.. i will pray god for that.. all the very best..
