How to Get Free Anti-Virus Protection

The AVG free anti-virus can still be obtained,but it has moved up in size and it is known as 8.0 now. However, good luck in downloading it, as the only copy after umpteen attempts at downloading in that which the file was completely sent to my computer--came out corrupt. This is available at free.grisoft.com.

If you're not satisfied with AVG you can use Avast. It's just as good and just as free. I actually prefer Avast myself as it includes a boot scanner and also helps prevent some spyware.

I too use avg 8. its worth downloading. try download using download managers if the download breaks frequently.

Did you have trouble with both download locations? You can download it from grisoft server and download.com You can try filehippo too: http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/
