Did You Know One Of Metallicas Band Members Quit The Band?

One of them left after being with them for around 2 decades. The band members said the reason was they never really took the time to know each other personally and thats why the member left. I don't think they have released another album since or I may be wrong. They could have released an album but i'm not sure. They were one of my most favorite bands growing up. Its sad to hear that one of them left.

which member was it? It had to be an older member of the band, B/C James just got the new bassist Rob to play about a few years ago. :) he came from another band though.
so, it had to be James, Lars, or Kirk that quit.
I'll have to check that out on their site. I'm a big fan of them too. :)
