In response to high fuel prices and environment concern, CNG (compressed natural gas )is starting to be used - light duty passenger vehicles and pick-up truck, schoolbus.. What about you? Do you consider change to CNG?

Probably I will sell the car and use the public transportation from now on. :) I don’t like to drive in such high traffic jams all the time. Gases prices might get higher at their turns. If I don’t own any car, I won’t even need to spend money for any car services / reparations. :P

The increase of petrol and diesel price sure have a chain effect on everyone not only for car owners. I do not own a car now , anyway if I do own a car , I will sure consider to use CNG . The CNG storage tank installation is around RM1000+ though it's consider high price but for long term it is definitely worth doing it. My other siblings who own cars are considering of changing to CNG . The only problem here in Malaysia where I live, there is short of petrol station that has selling CNG, hopefully the Government will take a fast action to increase the CNG petrol station. CNG should be encourage cos it is more economical in terms of price and most importantly, it is more environmental friendly .

I'm not sure. I do not know much about it or what it would require for us to use in our automobiles that we are already using gasoline in. I am not sure if it would hurt the engine either since we have used gas in it for so long now. We really do not do a whole lot of traveling now that my husband works close to home. I sure wish the gas prices would come down though. We would be paying around $600 a month or more in gas if my husband still had his old job.
