Would you take in someone that lost their home in a tragedy? | | With all of the recent natural activities that have been going on all over the globe, it made me wonder how many of us would step up to the plate for their fellow man. I would most definitely, and will when I no longer have someone else to answer to. In other words, I would, but my husband would say not only no, but hell no. So would you?

To tell you the truth, I love to help people around me but I just can't trust anyone beside myself and my husband. So, if you want to help then you could donate them or give them some food or other things that they need, but dont bring them to your home. Do you really trust them to be a good people to be in your own home? If family then it would be ok to live in my house for a while but for someone else, I just can't do it. I didn't mean want to help but the Red Cross has provide them a place to stay also...

tanniebabe78 (753) | 3 months ago | Well, opinions vary. I know there are a lot of bad people around. It is really too bad that they have to ruin it for everyone else. After all, if it weren't for them, I am sure that we would be still doing like in the old days and leaving our door open for whoever needed a place to stay whether we had room or not.

Her and her husband only stayed with me two nights while there house was inspected and determined to be safe. We also had a friend stay with us while here house was having work done to it. I would do it again with out a blink of the eye.

I help a woman one time, she was mental, and when I went to work she was always on my telephone. She ran my phone bill up $2,000, and to this day I have to pay that bill, I had $1,000 deducted from the bill, but that is still a lot of money to pay for a phone bill don't you think.
