Asking guys out at work?

I have a policy of not dating any of my customers or co-workers. I have learned from trial and error that it can be very awkward if the relationship ends. Now I just don't do it. I guess everyone is different. I have dated customers and at first it is awkward but we liked each other enough and it wasn't a bitter break up so it was ok in the end. The last customer I dated, It was so bad that to this day and it's been 2 years will not come into the store. And to be honest, I'm glad. I'd handle it with courtesy if he did but I never want to be in this spot again nor do I ever want to put someone in that spot.

I have faced this problem many times. in that situation, i just say thank you. i need not be helped at this point of time. it feels awkard. i just can say a man at cloth stire.
