How does iron man do it

well if you would have seen the movie with open eyes you would have seen the utilization of energy to produce the speed or rather the flying power of the iron man. Have you seen a plane, if you have i do not need to tell you that they are made of steel too and they can move pretty fast. you can also see when the energy is not able to sustain him in the air and he falls back down.

I've thought of similar situations in movies and I realize thats hollywood for you.

Well, there are different kinds of metals you know. Some of it are even lighter and is more durable compared to iron. Just think of all the alloys out there like titanium. It's actually not that impossible. If you would just have a good and lasting energy source that could fuel the rockets attached to that iron man suit, well i bet you would be able to have enough velocity to fight off the earths gravity and finally fly up high in the sky.
