Class of 2000, I have no idea who these girls are. I hope they're not girls I babysat back in the day. It's all over the news, 17 girls got pregnant, blah blah blah. I do not envy their situation and it's sad that so many babies were conceived out of a whimsy.
The Today Show is spewing some stuff about how Gloucester High has a day care for teen moms to drop their babies off at in the morning and pick up after school. This is only *partially* true. GHS has a nursery school program with added daycare benefits for just about any kid in Gloucester, especially families who cannot afford fancier programs. The catch is, the daycare is a *CLASS* which all about *CREDITS* to teach childcare and teaching skills to students.
Get me? Class! Credits! Teen moms are just so lucky to have such a venue in the school. Yet I cannot overemphasize, the daycare isn't there to cater to students who became parents too early. It is mainly for teaching purposes.

Oh wow it's so weird that someone here in mylot used to go to that school. I heard the news but I heard more details here in mylot. Well I think that, that nursery program is a really cool idea and of course it isn't to cater to these students. Thanks for clearing that up, it's good to have gotten this information from a primary source that actually knows what she is talking about.

Thanks for listening. :) Spread the word, lol, the news is making us look bad! (And the huge high school logo, uggh, me and my friends used to joke that it made it look like a shopping center.) No, seriously, thank you, and remember, Gloucester should be more famous for its cool points!
