blackout

Today there was a blackout in my city. I was sitting at my computer and had just posted a discussion on mylot. When everything went out. I was so lost without my computer, does anyone else feel lost when they can't use their computer. I was so bored I took a nap with my daughter...lol.

ive had that happen and it was really hot last summer and my electricity went out for no reason for a couple of hours.. it was so hot since the ac wasnt running.. and for some reason my electricity blinks almost every night at 3am.. the witching hour lol

lol i just wish it would stop the blinking.. but i keep forgetting to call the electric company during their hours since im not up during the days most of the time

I do feel lost when the power goes out and I have to find something else to do. Most of the time I work on crafts when we are without electricity. I am knitting an afghan for a new grandbaby which is due the first of November so I work on that project as long as it's daylight and I can see what I'm doing.
Before we had a computer, I worked on plastic canvas crafts which were sold at craft fairs. I also watched alot of television and did laundry.

Well that really sucks. I have a satellite connection so anytime there is a big storm I will lose my signal and I hate it.
