Could you live with out your electronics for a week?  

I could live a week without them. I almoust did actually. I was in the hospital for one week, and I didn't have computer, cellphone, tv or and mp3 player. I only had books which i read and my mate who was in the same room. I could sometimes go watch the tv which was in other room. It was just like 1 hour a day. So thats the only thing i could enjoy of. SO i could live without them for a week not longer, but couldn't live without electricity. Thats all different.

Absolutely.....Well I dont own a cell phone or an iPod or any of those gadgets actually and as much as I love my computer and beign online as well as my cable tv I dont NEED either of them since I'm quite content to do various other things like read, sew, write, dawdle aroudn teh house and yard etc etc..

I could live without it for a week or longer if I had to but....
I would not like it very much and would probably go a little crazy not being able to visit online and watch my favorite shows. Good luck to you on your experiement.

Hey, no i would become very restless. As i don't get sleep without fan. I can't stay without my cell as i need to talk with my parents. And then comes oven, washing machine etc,etc.
Though i hardly watch T V nowadays, i can't stay without responding to my friends on mylot.

I did without MySpace once for two weeks. That was pure hell after i'd signed back in and realised how much I'd missed!
I could never do without my phone, except for exams I've not ever switched the thing off; I panic if its not in my pocket, it's seriously like an extra limb or vital organ, if I don't have it - I am stuck. My whole life is on that thing.
I could probably do without certain things, but if everything went at once I'd do myself in. I'm a child of the technology generation, and well... I couldn't do without it!

I think the only one that I could not live without would be the computer. I use it daily. I mean if I had to then I could, but I could easily give up all the rest for a week, but not the computer. I would have to fight you for it. LOL

Yes I could and have. I live in Western New York and we had a severe ice storm in October of 2006. Some of us were without power for almost 3 weeks. My house personally did not have power for 8 days. No TV, no ipods, and no computer! Every night we would all be by the fire in our family room with candles lit. It was really a family bonding week.
