Have you gone boating?

Yesterday, Saturday, we went boating and fishing. One of my good friends has a big boat and he took myself and my daughter out on it yesterday. We spent the whole day boating and fishing and it was great fun. We didn't do a lot of fishing as it was so hot and we wanted to do more cruising, for the breeze, so we didn't do so much fishing. But my daughter caught the first one, a Jack fish, and I caught the next two and then she caught another one. So we each caught two and that was enough so we quit fishing and just cruised. The day was beautiful and sunny and hot, so it was great being on the water. My friend has bone cancer and probably only has the summer to live, so we are doing a lot of things with him. He isn't feeling so good anymore and so we try to do things that he can sit. Today he is taking his son and grandson boating and fishing. I am glad that he has a lot of good friends and good family members to help him.

Hi chris,
I grew up near the ocean and my parents have a small boat! We used to fish a lot with my cousins and do boating almost everyday...
So, I have tried being drown with my cousins and those scared me so much..I was holding a lot to my older cousin and I thought, I'm gonna die that time..LOL!
We do enjoy though having big waves all the time..it's fun!

Yes, we live in Florida and there's a beautiful river a couple of blocks from us that we go out on in our boat every once in awhile. It's very relaxing and I enjoy it a lot. I really would like to go out more than we do but other things get in the way most weekends.

When I was younger my grandparents had a pontoon boat. It was so much fun and my grandpa would even let me drive it! I always wanted to boat on a sailboat but never had the chance to.
My hubby loves boating, and he hopes some day to get a boat but for now with our kids being so little it makes me nervous the idea of taking the two of them out on a boat, even with life jackets!
