Have you ever had a garage sale, how well did you do.

I am planning on having my second garage sale next week end.
I had one two years ago, and did pretty well.
Have anyone had a garage sale, and what types of items did you sale?
This time, I think I am going to try to sell my wedding gown I won't need it anymore, and do not have a daughter to pass it down to.
Hope it sells.

I cleaned out my mom's garage after she passed away and made about $1500.00. But, she had Zane Grey books, afew antiques, dishes, costume jewelry, doilies, and miscellaneous items. So, if you have items people want you can make a good amount of money.

When we all still lived at home we would have a garage sale every year. We didn't make a lot of money, but we sure got rid of a lot of stuff, and people actually paid us a few bucks to take it off of our hands!!! I thought that was pretty great.
