my wife  | |  i guess you can say me and my wife are like night and day. totally different. when we met her family wasn't too happpy about it.
her brother knew me from getting into trouble and fights. i was i guess you can say wild.
we had our share of trouble with our marriage. broken up a few times. almost for good. but we stuck it out. having kids are 17 and 18 yrs old. and living with her parnets.
but she stuck by me with my drinking, bipolar and getting hurt. many times she gotten mad because i came home drunk, (never drove). and almost getting into fights with people.
when i got hurt she slept on the couch next to me, stayed up with me to help me out. helping me in every way there was. before we found out i had bipolar and me going off.
i would get so mad at our kids, and my wife would step up in front of me and let me yell at her. never laid a hand on her or the kids.
but she always stuck by me. even she put up with me, i also put with her stuff as well. trying to get her to go out and hang out. she don;t like too. it all good.
she is the main reason why i went for help with the bipolar. i can say i've been off meds for over 6 yrs. we been married for 23 yrs this year..

It is such a wonderful thing when someone can look back in his/her life and acknowledge when there is someone in their life has been good to him/her. It is so wonderful that you have stop doing the things that was hurting your marriage. Yes your wife is a wonderful woman and she loves and care for you. This is the reason she has stood by you even when her family was against it. But sometimes I wonder if you guys never take in consideration that the person who loves you seen something that you don't see and you should have stop right there. My family was like her's. Never and still doesn't like my boyfriend. He still hasn't change his attitude even through he sees that he has wrecked my life.
I am so glad that you have changed and I hope that you will continue to cherish the love that you have find in your wife and children. All the best and take good care of yourself.

all i can say and tell other guys even gals. if they are not working to improve themself, the other need to do what they need to do.
wanting to change, and seeing own faults, and admitting to our own mistakes as well
